About

Pupils who complete Ridge Church School (RCS) are called Old Ridgeans and should all belong to the alumni body called Old Ridgeans Association (ORA).

OLD RIDGEANS ASSOCIATION (ORA)

ORA is the association of people around the world who have attended RCS. Near and far, being a member of ORA keeps you in touch with the school and former mates from your days as a pupil.

Until now, RCS has never had an alumni body that gathers all year groups under one umbrella, though individual year groups have done well to remain in contact and even support the school. The 1994 Year Group for instance, in 2019, generously refurbished the school’s library and put smiles on the face of pupils as it upgraded the school’s literary resources. This effort has been greatly appreciated by the school and demonstrates what old students of Ridge Church School can do when we come together.

Being part of ORA means you get to remain a part of the Ridge Church School community and can impactfully lend your time, talent and treasure to the school that contributed to your formative years. As the school’s motto reminds us to not just say what we believe but to live it out, ORA offers us all the opportunity to do so – not only with our lips but in our lives.

The objectives of ORA are:

-        To Assemble: To keep all Old Ridgeans connected to and informed about their school

-        To Support: To be a platform through which Old Ridgeans can support their school in various ways

-        To Enrich the lives of all who have been to and those who are still in RCS through the celebration of the friendships created and the nurturing of the next generation of Ridgeans.
