Primary Department Promotions / Repetitions

To qualify for promotion to the next class, a pupil must satisfy at least one of the following conditions:

  1. Must obtain an average of sixty percent (60%) of work done in all three terms.
  2. Must obtain an average of sixty percent (60%) of work done for two terms in the year; one of which must be the Trinity term.
  3. Primary six pupils must pass an externally assessed examination conducted by the School.

Pupils are allowed to repeat once in the Primary. A child who fails a second time is asked to leave the school. However, each case on promotion shall be determined on its own merit.
